Belgian Thomas Vermaelen admitted to Barcelona's new player that his recovery has not been 100%, following the injury, which he suffered with his national team at the World Cup in 2014.
The media reported that Vermaelen has indicated his desire to start from scratch with FC Barcelona, especially after his absence from most games of last season with Arsenal.
And FC Barcelona issued an official statement which said: "Thomas Vermaelen injured stringed pond right, during his participation with the Belgian team in front of the United States last June, and the player will undergo physiotherapy exercises in order to participate."
