German defender Shkodran Mustafi, world champion in 2014 in Brazil, signed for five seasons at Valencia, Spanish club announced on 8th last Liga. Mustafi, 22, had spent the last three seasons at Sampdoria, 12th of Italy from 2013 to 2014 championship.
Selected the last time for the World Cup due to injury mid Marco Reus, Shkodran Mustafi had terminated his Brazilian adventure at the 8th finals won against Algeria (2-1 aet): wounded in the thigh, he was replaced in the 70th minute by Sami Khedira and had to forfeit the rest of the tournament. In Valencia, it will replace Adil Rami and Ricardo Costa parties under other skies.
