Germany goalkeeper Ron-Robert Zieler has renewed his contract at Hanover until 2017, the Bundesliga club said Saturday.
Zieler, 25, has been at the northern German club since 2010 and his previous deal was until 2015. he was part of Germany's World Cup-winning squad but did not play at the Brazil tournament.
Zieler said in a club statement "I am happy at 96 (the club) and in Hanover " while coach Tayfun Korkut named him " a very important pillar of the team."
